Chautauqua-Wawasee and the Syracuse-Wawasee Historical Museum are once again having local historian Ann Garceau narrate a Historical Cruise of Lake Wawasee aboard the SS Lillypad II.

This popular event is always a sell-out so get your tickets early. Ann will share her knowledge about historic hotels, events, property owners, restaurants, entertainment venues, boat taxis, marinas, other points of interest and little-known facts as the SS Lillypad proceeds clockwise around the shoreline of Lake Wawasee. Snack food will be provided along with a cash bar.

This event will sell-out so buy your tickets early.

Boarding begins at 12:30 at The Frog Tavern.

Historic Lake Wawasee “Then & Now” Cruise with Local Historian

Chautauqua-Wawasee invited local historian Ann Garceau of the Syracuse-Wawasee Historical Museum to share her knowledge of the history of Lake Wawasee during this popular lake cruise program.

During the cruise, guests received a booklet featuring photographs of lake cottages shown “then” and “now,” highlighting how the shoreline and community have changed over time.

This event has long been a favorite with audiences and traditionally sold out quickly.
